Clean Johnlock Fic Recs
Dec. 10th, 2018 09:53 pmLittle Boy Blue and the Man in the Moon by ariana_paris, 66 k, teen. A fascinating crossover with House. Dr. Greg House is Sherlock’s biological father, and they are reunited when John is hurt and needing medical care in the states. No sex, but so much love and character development, it makes your teeth hurt. Sublime and so well done!
Nineteen Seconds of Falling by EmmyAngua, 3 k, teen. A lovely look at what goes on in Sherlock’s mind palace when John asks him to be best man at his wedding. Angsty and sweet.
34 minutes by bendingsignpost, 4 k, teen. Pre-relationship to beginning relationship. Sherlock pulls John over for an experiment in eye contact. Nicely done!
To Sleep Perchance to Smother Your Flatmate by Linpatootie, 5 k, gen. A short of cuteness – a sleep experiment brings John and Sherlock together. Great fluff. (1st in 4 part series “Two Coffees One Black One with Sugar Please” universe)
April Sea by ladydirewolf1, 3 k, teen. After Mary leaves John, he and Sherlock take a vacation at the seaside where Sherlock spent his summers growing up. A very thoughtful, and lyrical fic & so sweet as they work things out between them.
The Love Song of Two Idiots by SkipandDi (ladyflowdi), 7 K, teen. The eighth time Sherlock proposed to John, it was on a Thursday afternoon in the middle of a Tesco. And like the seven times before, he got rejected. A delightful tale of silliness, miscommunication, and a month of bean recipes. Thumbs up!
Last Call at the Homesick Pub by Chryse, 3 k, teen and up. This is a lovely bittersweet look at Sherlock as he traveled in disguise around the globe for two years hunting Moriarty’s web. Just for a few weeks, Sherlock plays the fiddle with an expat Irish band at a pub in some foreign city far from home. He promises the band he’ll stay through St. Patrick’s day at least.
A Soldier’s Instinct by bees_stories, 1 k, teen. Every soldier has a survival instinct; that voice in his head or his gut that tells him when a situation isn't quite right and that he should tread with care. But on a London street, John experiences something much more profound.
Observing Christmas by Kryptaria, 1.2 K, general. Sherlock doesn’t do Christmas. Somehow though, John has a way of slipping past his firmly-set walls. Sweet little friends to lovers fic.
The Blog of Eugenia Watson by Mad_Lori, 95 k, gen. Marked as WIP, but ends at a good place. Genie is a teen-aged girl being raised by her mum, Grace, and her two dads, John and Sherlock who lives next door. Told from her point of view, the story is amazing, funny, sad, and heart-breaking when Sherlock suddenly goes missing. All thumbs up!
Duvet Green by Mazarin221b, 2 k, Gen. Sweet fluff bit about Sherlock reorganizing his mindpalace and giving John his own room there.
Share and share alike by lbmisscharlie, 1.9 k, Gen. Really cute little series 1 bromance fic. John and Sherlock know each other so well, they share and swap food without even thinking about it.
and stand there at the edge of my affection by coloredink, 2 k, gen. "You've written love letters," Sherlock asserted.
