Sherlock might be on the spectrum – Autism, Autistic

A matter of degrees series by sophiahelix, 4 fics, explicit. By degrees, Sherlock finds that he can’t do without John Watson. Through some experiments with wanking to a wedding that Sherlock crashes to follow John, the two men find their way together, where they belong.

The Old Familiar Sting by songlin, 2 k, teen. He calls himself a sociopath because he’d rather be hated than pitied.

The Cold Song series by Eldritchhorrors, 7 works, explicit.  Much is explained about Sherlock when we find out his childhood was shattered by a serial killer taking a family member. Now, the killer is striking again, and Sherlock must deal with things long locked away to solve the case. Sherlock only accesses his emotions through music, but a BDSM relationship with John that is moving from sex into love is healing Sherlock in ways he can’t comprehend.

Observe, Control, Delete by Chryse, 9k, mature. When Sherlock woke up in the hospital, again, alone, again, with the dullness of morphine lying over him like a smothering blanket, again, he had to close his eyes for a long, long moment. But then he gritted his teeth and reached to punch down the level on his PCA. If the only thing he could control was how much narcotic was being dumped into his system, then by God he would control it.

The Crossed Wires of Sherlock Holmes by jackotah, 3 K, teen.  Sherlock's eyes flicked up to his with intention. The action always made something inside of John flinch. It didn't come naturally or comfortably for Sherlock, that much was clear. It was a very carefully learned skill, and Sherlock could wield it like a weapon.

Aspie!Sherlock series by whitchry9, a series of shorts, missing scenes, etc. of Aspie Sherlock. John works to understand Sherlock and what he needs.

The Catherine Wheel by Ghislainem70, 3 k, mature. A Johnlock first time. Sherlock has sensory sensitivity. Can Doctor John Watson help?

What The Greats Wrote About by orphan_account,  3 k, unrated. Sherlock spends time that should be spent in school huddled up at his favourite, independent bookshop in a quiet corner of London town. Mid-teens and awkward, he's Hillary's favourite customer with his peculiar manner and love of books. And then a young man happens upon the store and Sherlock finds himself a little bit up in the air...

225 miles and approx. 4hr 5 minutes of conversation on a Tuesday morning in March by ElapsedSpiral, 1 k, gen. He feels like his cape got caught in the door of a vegetarian gastro-pub in Devon. He’s just a man now. John is polite enough not to comment. Of course. Of course he is, the doctor. The carer. Yet another handler. (Aspergers)

Know When You've Been Beaten by Breath4Soul, 44 k, mature. Sherlock confessing things while drugged leads to a sweet, humorous and awkward journey. Sherlock must overcome his past to flirt with the idea of something more with his companion. (Sherlock is on the Autism spectrum)

The Contingency Plan by mightypog, 5 k, gen. When Sally and Greg prevent Sherlock from committing suicide when he thinks John has been killed, Sherlock and Sally reconsider each other.

Meltdown by equals_eleven_thirds, 1k, teen. Sherlock hadn't had a meltdown since he was twelve years old. He rather thought he was about to have one now.

Meltdown by Flubberwurm, 6 k, gen.  He hadn’t had a loss of control like this in many years. Until now he had always succeeded in maintaining his cold façade in front of others. He was Sherlock Holmes after all. He was a man of cold reasoning, of rationality, of facts.

On Pins and Needles series by 7PercentSolution, J_Baillier, 2 works, explicit. His immune system is decimating his nervous system - a civil war raging inside of him. Is there a reaction he's supposed to be having to this news, now? Something normal: cry, scream, pound the wall? Shake his fist at the uncaring universe?

The Best Present by whitchry9, 702 words, gen.  It’s Valentine’s day, and John surprises Sherlock with a present: A sensory bin. (ff.net.)

Paying The Piper by J_Baillier, 7 k, teen. John has plucked up the courage to leave Sherlock alone in the flat for the first time after the detective has quit smoking. Predictably, everything is terrible.

Lettered by Watermelonsmellinfellon, 9 k, mature. Little John sends a letter to his friend and messes up the address. A return letter, containing his own letter, starts a friendship that leads into love later on. With some drama in between.

Its Own Beast by jackotah, 1 k, teen. He drew in a great shuddering breath as Sherlock nipped again at the pulse point of his neck, then kissed the spot as if in gentle apology. Sherlock paused briefly, as he had many times already, to observe John's reaction. His eyes were intense, interested, and John could practically see the intricate machine of his mind whirring away behind them, analysing, categorising, formulating a new experiment in light of recent data.

Touch Me (Don't, Please) by Fandoms_are_my_lifestyle, 3 k, gen. Sherlock Holmes just really, really doesn't like being touched. (But for some reason when John does it it's okay.)

Love, Sociopath Style by fantomeq, 13 k, explicit. Sherlock likes to experiment on John in his sleep. John has a few experiments of his own to conduct.

Wait Till Victor Comes by J_Baillier, 9 k, teen. "Lots of children process grief the way Sherlock is now doing – by creating imaginary friends," the child psychiatrist tells them at a family meeting. "It's completely harmless." Mycroft isn't sure at all about that.

Just The Same by jackotah, 3 k, explicit. The tenderness of it all may have seemed uncharacteristic to someone who didn't know better, to see such a calculating and analytical man on his knees with his nose pressed reverently to the softer spots of John's body without shame or awkwardness. John, however, was more than keenly aware that Sherlock did most things differently, but he did every one of them with all of his heart.

Scar Tissue by 7PercentSolution, J_Baillier, 192 k, explicit. John has scarcely recovered from his Afghanistan tour when Sherlock is injured at work, putting their already strained relationship to the test.

And Here We Are by J_Baillier, 12 k, teen. All the little things we never got to see when an army doctor and a consulting detective were adjusting to sharing a flat. And a life.

Diss The Season by J_Baillier, 3 k, gen. Nobody likes being alone at Christmas.

Gifted by 7PercentSolution, 7 k, gen. Sherlock gets to spend Christmas with John. Is this a recipe for holiday disaster? A sequel to Diss the Season, by J_Baillier.

soft as silk, stronger than steel series by fabricdragon, 2 works. (Sherlock/Sebastian Moran/Jim Moriarty.) Begins after Sherlock was exiled after shooting Magnussen. Some very not good people are doing very not good things, which forces Sebastian Moran and Sherlock Holmes to work together.

Nothing Attached by intotheruins, 1 k, gen.  “I suppose I don’t see myself as having a gender. A sex, of course, but with nothing attached.”
